    Siddhant ceremony 

    In this, the ritual where the panjis of the family are considered to be the priest or panikar. This ritual is celebrated before the wedding day. Further, the marriage of brahmin Groom and Bride is taken by the panjikar and accepted during this ritual. Then the wedding date is fixed with the acceptance of both the families as per the lunar calendar (Maithil Panchang).

    The Nishchaithambul ritual is a Brahmin family name also known as Roka or engagement. On this day, the ring exchanging scenario is done by the couple and celebrated further in front of the families and relatives. Also, according to most of the families in Brahmins, they usually prefer a gap between the ring ceremony and wedding day.

    Naandi Pooja ritual 

    The Naandi pooja ritual is celebrated 10 days before the wedding day. Such special pooja is performed by both the families respectively as per the tradition requires.

    Yedur Kansani ceremony 

    The ritual named “Yedur Kansani” is performed by the females of both the families. This tradition is celebrated to worship a healthy and strong relationship between the families and their members. The Bride welcomes the women of the Groom’s family and greets them with Haldi and Kumkum. Additionally, the younger females spray rose water on the guests.

    Uradha-Moorthu ceremony 

    Uradha-Moorthu is one of the most common rituals celebrated by Brahmin families. In this, the Bride has to grind Moong dal with the help of her unmarried female cousins or siblings. Similarly, the ritual is performed at the Groom’s family. 

    Mehendi ceremony 

    This is the most enjoyable ceremony celebrated in almost every religion. Mehendi ceremony is performed just the day before the wedding day. In this, all the females of both the families tattoos Mehendi on their hands and also the bride design it on hands and feet to complete the wedding look.

    During the Groom’s arrival, the females’ of the Bride’s family welcomes him. The females who welcome him are known as Vidkari with a sandal paste. After having a ceremony bath, the groom then wears dhoti and jenui.

    Gauri Pooja 

    In this, the Brahmin’s Bride worships a special prayer to the goddess Gauri about her upcoming marriage life.

    During the wedding ceremony, the couple is the set next to each other in front of holy fire (Yagana) to worship the lord Agni. After this, the family does Kanyadan where the bride’s father hands her daughter to the Groom and makes his responsibility to take care of her. In which, the priest chants holy mantras in front of holy fire.

    Saptapada ritual 

    A special ritual “Saptapada” is head during the wedding the couple takes seven-round around the holy fire and promises each other to stay together forever. The Groom then ties Mangalsutra on Bride’s neck and apply Sindoor on her forehead.
